Hello Birchwood Residents,
The association has furnished the property with designated trash and recycling dumpsters. There are 3 locations where items can be disposed of:
- The bottom of the lower parking lot which services Building A.
- The top of the lower lot which services Building B.
- The top of the upper parking lot which services Buildings C, D and E.
Please note, these dumpsters are specifically for regular trash and recycling. When using the recycling dumpster, large boxes and or plastics should be broken down prior to loading the dumpster as to take up as little space necessary so other residents can do the same.
If the dumpster that services your building is full, please do not continue filling it so that it is overflowing with trash and allows animals to get into it and make a mess. If necessary, please bring your trash to one of the other dumpsters on the property that is less full to dump your trash.
Birchwood Commons is going to continue arranging a LARGE dumpster on an annual basis for disposal of LARGE items. Please DO NOT dump any large items into the regular dumpsters. We ask that you hold onto these items until the LARGE dumpster is arranged. This may include, but not limited to the following:
- TV’s
- Appliances
- Furniture of any kind
- Construction materials
- Water heaters
- Cabinets of any kind
- Entertainment centers
- Storage racks
- If you are unsure about an item, please contact the board to verify prior to throwing it in the regular dumpsters.
***If any of these items are found in the regular dumpster, our trash hauler WILL NOT pick up the trash and will potentially charge us a fee and or discontinue service to our property***
